Police name man who died after East Worldham road accident

Hampshire Constabulary has named the man who died following a collision at East Worldham.

Choudhry Muhammad Sadaqat, 35, of Weydon Lane, Farnham, died on July 25. He collided with a heavy goods vehicle in Green Street - the B3004 - on July 21.

His family, which is being supported by specialist officers, released this tribute: “Choudhry was a good son and brother. He has left us early to return to his Creator.

“He enjoyed life and was always ready to serve his community. He is survived by his mother, father, brothers and family.”

The heavy goods vehicle driver, a 38-year-old man from Tamworth, was arrested in connection with the incident. He was later released, but remains under investigation.
